The MY100 is the ultimate challenge at the Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB. Runners will be tested with a mixture of technical and non-technical trails whilst journeying through the pristine tropical rainforest, most notably the Virgin Jungle Reserves (VJR) surrounding Maxwell Hill, one of the oldest hill stations in Malaysia, and past historical relics like the pre-war railway tunnels in Taiping.

The MY50 is for you if triple digits might be too early or too soon. The race will take you on a journey through the iconic Taiping Lake Garden beside the forested jungle path surrounding Maxwell Hill. It takes in everything great about the longer courses – the scenery, happy trails and support – and packages it into a 50km bundle that gives you “I’m an ultra-runner” bragging rights without the crazy KMs.

The MY25 is an exhilarating challenge, with its undulating uphill and downhill trails, known as a real lung buster! Runners will cross two rivers that flow downhill and are taken deep into the forest reserves surrounding Burmese Pool and Maxwell Hill.

The MY13 has been designed to cater to trail runners of all levels. Runners will experience flowing through the iconic Taiping Lake Garden before being taken on a passage through beautiful durian plantations and peaceful forested jungle path surrounding Maxwell Hill which are famously rich in flora and fauna.

The first and only VK race in Malaysia will start the party at the Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB. This time trial formatted vertical challenge will take runners to 1000m (asl) within 5.6 KM, through technical forest reserves and Virgin Jungle Reserves (VJR). This is a perfect race for elevation hunters and for those who intend to warm up for the other races planned for the race weekend. Runners will have a view of Taiping town to the Straits of Melaka upon crossing the finish line.

MYKIDS is an inclusive and fun race that allows our future trail runners to experience the wonders of running, and earn themselves a nice medal. It is open for kids 12 years and below. Runners will have experience of the UTMB start and finish with crowds cheering along the finish chute.
