Aid Stations
Aid Stations are generously stocked with:
- Lollies
- Water
- Fruit
- Bakery goods
- Hot water, tea, coffee, soup
- Hot meals (AS5 and AS7 for MY100 and AS2 and AS4 for MY50)
- Electrolyte (pre-mixed)
Exact aid station stocks will be available to view in the Runner Guide. We cannot guarantee all goods will be available at all aid stations, so use the drop bag service and your support crew for any necessities.
Please note we are a cup-less event. In an effort to cut down on waste, we will have no drinking cups at aid stations. You will need to carry a cup or hydration pack with you. Limited stock of hydrations packs will be available for sale at the event merchandise, but we encourage you to purchase one in advance and use it in your training.
First Aid will be available at each aid station, and at finish. There will also be roving first aid crews on the course.
There will be toilet facilities at each aid station location.
AID STATION DROP BAG
For MY100 only
A drop bag service will be available which allows you to have your own personal supplies (gels, food, change of socks, shoes, shorts, lubricant, etc.) available at certain aid stations.
Mid way Aid station drop bags can be delivered to the drop bag tents at the race start line area on Saturday 16 November 2024 from 01:00am.
The drop bags will be returned to the drop bag location within 4 hours (8:00pm 16/11/2024) after the checkpoint cut-off time (4pm 16/11/2024). Collect by showing your race bib or race wristband. Any drop bags not collected by 02:00pm on the Sunday 17 November 2024 will be disposed of.
Clearly mark your drop bag sticker provided in your race pack.
If you would like to add more marking to your bag we suggest using a permanent marker pen with:
- Surname
- Race number
- Location
At aid stations drop bags will be lined up numerical order. Any bags without or clearly written/visible with a name and race number, will placed at the end of the number range.
Only the runner can collect their drop bag at the drop bag locations. Once each aid station drop bag is finished with it must be taken to the used drop bag pile.
FINISH LINE DROP BAGS
All Distances
Every runner will be provided with a Finish Line drop bag.
Finish line drop bags can be left in the designated area near the start line on the morning of each respective race. These allow you to have something warm at the start that you can then collect at the finish.
For MY100, finish line drop bags can be left in the designated area near the start line at Esplanade on Saturday morning from 01:00am.
SUPPORT CREW
We love support crews almost as much as our runners at Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB – you are always the most colourful (and loudest!) and a huge part of the magical atmosphere of the whole weekend.
You also have the very important job of getting your runners to the finish line!!
First job for support crew is to read the support crew section in the Runner Guide which will be available one month before the event. It contains important information you will need to know for the event.
To keep the event manageable as well as fair and safe for all athletes,, please note that support crews cannot run alongside their runners at any point on the course outside of the aid stations and may only support their runners at specified aid stations.
